The Ask:
Now You See Us is a grassroots community dedicated to celebrating and empowering Asian identities through intimate gatherings and deeper conversations.
Our mission is to honor and amplify Asian American identities through meaningful gatherings and thought-provoking conversations. We curate purposeful experiences and impactful workshops that aim to dismantle harmful stereotypes, redefine dynamic cultural identities, and unapologetically celebrate the Asian diaspora.
The Result:
With a track record of producing more than 10 events attended by over 150 guests, my role as Co-Founder and Creative Director involves intentionally curating safe spaces and experiences that facilitate impactful and candid conversations about cultural identity and community support.
Each event is tailored to celebrate specific cultural traditions, serving as both an homage to heritage for younger generations and an educational opportunity for those less familiar with each culture. We intentionally partner with BIPOC-owned businesses or brands for each event, bridging the gap between cultural diversity and inclusive celebration.
